More dirt farmers needed in Senate…

September 26, 2008

Montana Senator John Tester apparently asked Bernanke and Paulson:

“I’m a dirt farmer,” said Senator Jon Tester, the Montana Democrat who still lives on his family homestead. “Why do we have one week to determine that $700 billion has to be appropriated or this country’s financial system goes down the pipes?”

Thanks to Joe Egan on the NYT blogs for having put this out there for me to see.

At a Resource Generation board meeting last month, I stated how one of my visions in 20-25 years will be that: 40 US Senators are under 40 years old.

I will be 50 in 2028. But, if the ICU two-party political corruption in this country is not destoryed in order to be rebuilt in another fashion, then we will have become the greatest decline since Rome.
